In today's digital world, using the right tools can make learning, working, and staying focused much easier. Fortunately, many free and beginner-friendly tools make our learning journey smoother and more fun.
In this blog, I'll share some of my favorite tools that I believe every ICT student should know.
01.FreeCodeCamp FreeCodeCamp offers all of its courses , certifications, and tutorials completely free of charge. So you can start learning instantly with just an internet connection. This is very helpful for improving your coding skills.
On this platform, building a real-world project is mandatory at the end of each certification. You must build 5 projects to prove your skills. freeCodeCamp has millions of learners worldwide. Many learners get jobs without a degree-just with their freeCodeCamp portfolio. Lessons are designed by professional developers and educators.
Why I like it :
➤ FreeCodeCamp is really free. ➤ It has a mobile app.
➤ These certificates can boost our resume or LinkedIn profile.
- FreeCodeCamp offers verified certifications in areas like:
* Responsive web design
* JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures

Discord helps ICT students by providing a collaborative platform to learn, share resources, get coding help, and connect with peers and professionals worldwide.
Why I like it:
➤ I like Discord because it's a free, fun, and flexible platform to talk, share, and connect with others who have similar interests. ➤ Connect with global communities. ➤ Custom bots and tools for fun or study work on phone, pc, and browser.
➤ Great for group projects and study groups.

It has a free version and a paid version.
Why I like it:
➤ Plant trees while you study.
➤ Track your progress.
➤ Stay off your phone. ➤ You can even help plant real trees.
➤ Forest turns focus into a game. Every time I study, I grow my own little forest. It's fun, motivating, and eco-friendly too!
